Current state and problem

When switching to the Money ERP information system from Seyfor, the Point4U newsagent and vending machine operator also required automatic processing of business documents, especially delivery notes and invoices. They accept documents in several different formats, so it was important for them to find a solution that could handle them all without any problems.

It was also important for Point4U to find a system that would help them with the error rate caused by manual data transcription and that would also be able to handle a large number of different types of goods. Point4U uses up to 15,000 different warehouse cards.

Proposed solution

Point4U became interested in how automatic processing of business documents was done in other companies, so Seyfor recommended a combination of two solutions. This included a unified email box with automatic document reading and processing in combination with the ORiON EDI tool.

Currently, Point4U communicates with all suppliers fully automatically, even though they use different document formats. According to them, the most reliable is EDI , whose structure is unchangeable. Thanks to these processes, Point4U saves about two jobs and can process all documents without any manual work.
