How Bosonožka prepared its warehouse for further growth abroad with the help of LOKiA WMS

Bosonožka is one of the most prominent players in the barefoot segment in Central Europe. The company is based in Brno, operates its own large warehouse and its annual turnover exceeds 200 million crowns. The whole story began very inconspicuously - with the personal experience of one family.

In 2015, the founder of Bosonožky, Zuzana Sovjáková Koubková, was looking for shoes for her son that would respect the natural shape of his foot and not restrict his movement. Surprisingly, she did not find a product on the market that would satisfy her idea of healthy footwear. The unmet need gradually led to the creation of her own e-shop and later a company that today offers a wide selection of barefoot shoes and actively participates in its development.

Bosonožka's growth also illustrates a typical moment experienced by many successful e-commerce companies. At a certain point, sales or marketing ceases to be the biggest challenge. The key issue becomes operations - warehouse, logistics and internal processes that have to keep up with the growing volume of orders.

Bosonožka went through this period. As the e-shop's CTO Jaroslav Bednář describes in the video, the company first decided to have an independent audit and then systematically set up warehouse processes to create a stable operating basis for further growth. Thanks to this, its warehouse now operates clearly and reliably, and the team has greater confidence in daily operations.

And this brings about a fundamental change: when the operation is firmly established, the company can focus on strategic matters again. In the case of Bosonožka, this means working with the brand, the upcoming rebranding, and also expansion into other European markets – for example, Germany.

In the video, you will learn from Jaroslav Bednář why they decided to entrust this major systematic and strategic transformation of the company to GRiT and what specific problems were eliminated thanks to its modern LOKiA WMS tool.
