Critical thinking

Critical thinking is a way of thinking about corporate costs.

Critical thinking is a way of thinking in which companies look for ways to save money in the long term and support future growth, rather than short-term cuts. This pun was coined during our campaign to promote effective and meaningful cost reduction.

Drastic and hasty cuts are effective in the short term, but in the future they can harm the company, limit its development and potentially deepen the economic crisis. Therefore, before adopting such a solution, companies should thoroughly analyze their costs and look for more efficient ways.

An example of meaningful cost reduction is, for example:

  • time efficiency of existing processes,
  • digitization and automation of repetitive activities (for example, document processing ),
  • negotiating better conditions with suppliers,
  • purchasing smaller quantities of inventory,
  • introduction of home office or remote work,
  • shortening the maturity of invoices .
