Current state and problem
UDERMAN quickly realized how inefficient it is to work and manage warehouses in Excel spreadsheets. This growing Slovak company, which operates several e-shops under the FOXIGY brand, needed to switch from cluttered Excel spreadsheets to sophisticated warehouse software due to the increasing number of orders and the variety of products.
LOKiA WMS was able to cover all the requirements that UDERMAN had for the operation of the warehouse. Another advantage was the favorable price, which, considering the required performance, had no competition. The deployment of the warehouse system in the UDERMAN warehouse not only brought immediate improvement in warehouse processes, but also gave rise to a unique deployment of warehouse software without the presence of a supplier.

Efficient implementation via the Internet
Communication between the companies took place via conference calls, during which questions about the use of the system were answered and all processes were set up. The only physical journey was made by the package with barcode readers.
Based on jointly defined requirements for the method of marking warehouse locations, specialists from GRiT prepared materials for UDERMAN employees in the form of precise instructions and procedures on how to carry out the marking. The locations were marked with barcode labels, based on which the entire warehouse was drawn on a graphic map.
The LOKiA WMS system was then connected online in real time via an open REST API interface with other internal accounting systems and an e-shop. This was followed by complete training of warehouse workers via shared screens, the scope of which corresponded to the usual physical deployment at the customer. After a short testing period, the system was put into full operation.
Resulting changes
“We deployed the LOKiA warehouse software ourselves with the help of remote support from GRiT consultants. Working with barcode readers and the system in general is simple and intuitive. Everyone should be able to handle it. The warehouse works as it should and so far we have not had to meet with GRiT employees in person.“
