On Tuesday, September 23, we organized a practical seminar at the TRANS-TECHNIK Brno premises dedicated to managed warehouses and options for choosing the ideal first warehouse software.
On Tuesday, September 23, we met at TRANS-TECHNIK in Brno, where, together with partners and guests, we opened the topic of managed warehouses. Not theories, but concrete examples - from choosing a new warehouse during company growth to the perspective of a manager for whom the warehouse system is a management tool.
The example of the Ovečkárna e-shop showed what digitalization can do: order picking in an average of one minute, 40% faster shipping, and virtually zero packaging errors. The company is thus able to handle a multiple increase in orders during the season without the need to massively hire new people.
The program also included a presentation by our partners from point.x , who showed how readers and mobile devices support the accuracy and speed of processes in the warehouse. But the greatest value was brought by the tour of the TRANS-TECHNIK warehouse itself. Warehouse manager Zdeněk Němec and his colleague Jirka demonstrated LOKiA WMS in action - how the system manages daily operations and what data it provides to managers for shift planning, remuneration or performance control.

And also how data from the system can be used from a managerial perspective - for shift planning, setting rewards, and performance monitoring.
The interest of the participants only confirmed that such practical demonstrations are the best way to verify what a managed warehouse really means. And that the "ideal first warehouse software" today is not just about logistics. It is a tool that gives owners and managers the confidence that their company can grow.
