INHOUSE format

A non-standard message format that an enterprise information system ( ERP ) can work with. When communicating with other entities, a message from this format is translated by an EDI converter into a standard or other required format.

The ORiON EDI solution for electronic document exchange automatically processes the supplier's or customer's inhouse formats, converts them to the counterparty's inhouse format, and also acts as a "postman" between these entities.

Example:

Thanks to ORiON, an order placed by a customer in their information system is automatically (and almost instantly) loaded into the supplier's information system. The systems do not have to be identical and each can work with a different in-house order format.
