This is a sensor whose task is to quickly and accurately read a barcode and transmit its content to the information system. The reader emits a beam of light. From the same place where the beam emerges from the reader, a sensor is located that receives the reflection of the beam. The light and dark stripes of the barcode are reflected by a different level of the reflected signal, which the computer inside evaluates and converts the light intensity into a numerical code.
