RECADV (Confirmation of Goods Receipt)

RECADV – Receiving Advice

The message is used by the customer to confirm receipt of the goods to the supplier. The message is usually a response to the DESADV message and refers to one supplier's shipping point and one delivery point.

With this message, the customer informs the supplier about the goods actually received and their quantity. Thanks to this, the supplier can resolve any potential discrepancies in the delivery promptly before issuing the invoice, thus minimizing logistical credit notes. Another important help for the customer is the machine comparison of the receipt against the invoice and its automatic liquidation if all the details match.
