Vineyard registry protects consumers and helps to improve the quality of wine

11. March 2010

Within the time frame of the SALIMA and VINEX foodstuff and wine fairs at the Brno fair and exhibition centre CCV Information systems in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture had organized a press conference on the topic of higher customer protection and wine quality thanks to information technologies and winegrowers' education.

On this press conference, which took place during the first day of the fair, journalists had the pleasure to pose their questions to Ivana Machovcová (headmistress of the Higher vocational School Valtice - Střední odborné školy Valtice), Antonín Králíček (head of the wine department of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic), Jan Škerle (head of the CCV eGovernment division - technological supplier of the ministry's registry), Jakub Šamšula (winemaking technician of Templářské cellars Čejkovice) and Petr Ondrášek (CCV Information systems marketing manager).

The press representatives found out (amongst other things) that the number of winegrowers' electronic claims has increased almost fourfold compared to the last year.
